When Terry and I first met, he was just moving into a new apartment and did not have cable yet. All he had was a live concert DVD for The Eagles, and we watched that DVD over and over. I used to make fun of him for having the DVD (I mean, who watches live concerts?!!), but The Eagles quickly became one of our favorite bands together, and that DVD truly helped build the foundation of our relationship. In fact, we are going to The Eagles concert in October when they are in Dallas!! When we started thinking of names for Baby Girl, we were all over the place, but there were 3 names that just stuck with us the whole time. One of those names became a front runner in San Diego a few weeks ago, but neither of us were ready to commit. Over the last week or so, my mind was made up, but Terry still wasn't quite sure. Today, I went to lunch with a friend, and came back to Tiff's Treats & ice cream on my desk, along with this note:
HENLEY, we cannot wait to meet you.
(For those that don't know, Don Henley is one of the lead singers of the Eagles and also where we came up with the name.)
